Is CFA Charter equal to masters?
CFA Institute lists CFA Program as a Post-graduate program which is equivalent to Masters in USA. In addition, UK's National Recognition Information Centre (UK NARIC) has declared the CFA Program as equivalent to UK's Master's degree in finance.

How long does it take to complete CFA Program?
It takes 2.5 to 3 years depending on when you start. There are three Levels. Level 1 can be attempted either in June or in December every year. Level 2 and Level 3 can be attempted only in June. One needs to pass level 1 to appear in level 2 and then pass level 2 to appear in level 3. Exam is conducted at Karachi and Lahore for both June and December attempts.

Who is eligible for the CFA Program?
AnAny person with:
• 16 years of education (in any field); OR
• 14 years of education and 2 years of work experience OR
• 4 years of experience (any work experience); OR
• Any recognized professional qualification e-g CA, ACCA or CIMA OR
• Persons with ACCA level II pass or in final year of bachelor can take up Level I of CFA Program
Do I have to complete all exams within a certain period of time to receive the CFA charter?
No, According to the CFA Institute, a candidate can take as much time as necessary to complete all three levels of the CFA Program.
Therefore, if you passed the June 2004 CFA Level I examination, you could take the CFA Level II examination in June 2009 (rather than June 2005) and the CFA Level III examination in June 2015 (rather than June 2006).
Remember that successful completion of all three CFA examinations is only one of several requirements needed to obtain your CFA charter.
What is the format of the CFA exams?
Each exam includes morning and afternoon sessions. The Level I questions are all multiple choice. The exam has total 240 multiple choice questions, 120 on the morning session and 120 on the afternoon session.
The Level II questions are all item set (or "mini case") questions. Each item set consists of a vignette (or case statement) and six multiple choice questions. The level II exam has 20 item sets, 10 on the morning session and 10 on the afternoon session.
The Level III exams contain 12-15 essay questions on the morning session and 10 item set questions on the afternoon session.
What percentage of students are able to pass CFA Level 1 exam?
Global average is 35%. However, 60% of Kamran's students have been able to pass CFA level 1 in first attempt over last twenty nine batches.

Class timings are structured to facilitate working candidates, primarily evenings and/or weekends.

Class size is limited to 40 seats.
Class tests and mock exams are conducted regularly to help candidates in assessing preparation level. Students end training course with practice of at least 3000 exam style MCQs.
